“What about Your Kid’s Face?”

We started to seriously think about launching this roaming photo studio experience some time in the late summer.

I love photographing people and events, and with the pandemic (and being pregnant during one), we kept our circle very small. I was craving some creativity and after a tough postpartum period, that part of my brain started to wake up again. I started playing around with different ways to photograph Izzy and realized how much I was missing photography in my life.

After that, things quickly started falling into place and the more we talked about it, the more excited we both got about our new project.

The only thing missing? A name. We were outside in our backyard having some wine as we started brainstorming. John suddenly exclaimed, “What about Your Kid’s Face?” I thought he was joking and I quickly responded “Nah, we can do better.” But over the course of a week, it started to grow on me. So what started as a joke turned into the “face” of our passion project.

We are so excited to launch this into the world and we cannot wait to bring some joy to your life through portraits of Your Kid’s Faces!
